  1. Descr:     Universal picture viewer, compiled for X11R6, installs into
  2.     /usr/local/xv-3.10.
  3.  
  4. This is xv-3.10, compiled for NetBSD-1.0-amiga and X11R6.

  6. Installation (You need root privileges to do that):
  7.  
  8. 1.) cd /
  9. 2.) tar zvxf xv-3.10-bin.tar.gz
  10. 3.) cd /usr/local/xv-3.10/install
  11. 4.) sh install.sh
  12. 5.) Please read the README in /usr/local/xv-3.10 and get the source
  13. for more information, e.g. ftp.germany.eu.net in pub/X11/misc/xv
